Groundbreaking Ceremony
Thank you to everyone who attended the groundbreaking ceremony on July 18th, and to all who support the library. We are very excited for our new city offices, community center, and library remodel! This project will be paid for completely with donations and other fundraising methods. We still need your support and donations to make this project happen. All donations will be matched by the Dell Loy Hansen Family Foundation!
Story Time
Story Time is every Tuesday & Friday at the library. Toddler Time @ 10:10 am. Children's Story Time @ 11:00 am. All ages welcome! No sign-up required.
Lego Club: Ages
Come join us for a new adventure every 1st and 3rd Thursday of the month for our Lego Club. Ages 5 and older are welcome to attend. Ages 5 and older are welcome to attend. Any child under age 8 may attend programs if a responsible adult accompanies the child. No sign up is required.
Teen Advisory Board: Application Available Now!
We are excited to announce that we will be starting a Teen Advisory Board at the library. This is for ages 12-17. You can apply starting August 1st. We will be adding the google form link in the coming weeks. Applications are due by August 31. September 12th-September 15th we will be interviewing the teens for the board. We will be treating the application process as a job interview to give the teens experience in interviewing and applying for a position. Teen Advisory Board members will be announced and notified by September 16th. This opportunity looks great on college and job applications. We are so very excited to work with the teens! It is going to be a fun year.
Makerspace Club
We will be starting Makerspace Club on September 12th and September 26th at 4:30-5:30pm. This club is for ages 8-11. We are excited to have Cache Makers joining us again for another exciting year! You can sign up by clicking the link below. We do have limited spots for this club. Monthly sign ups will occur the day after the last club. Once you sign up you are automatically signed up, for both dates during the month you registered. You will then need to re-registered your child again at the end of each the month.
Coding Club!
The Coding Club will begin on September 6th through September 27th. Then a new monthly class will start each month for more kids to learn how to use Fiero Code web based software. Choose which month you would like to participate in. This club is for ages 8-11. No coding experience necessary. This is a self pace course where the child will get to build an avatar and earn materials for their avatar to use through the Fiero Software. This is a free class. Have fun coding with us!
Teen Activity Ages 12-17

Multi-Author Fair: Keynote Speaker Tyler Whitesides
Calling all authors and readers! We are hosting a multi-author fair! Tyler Whitesides will be our guest keynote speaker for the event at 10:00am. This fair will include special author readings, book signings, an author panel, and a raffle! There will also be food trucks, including Pauni Island Grill and the Rollin Mug! This fundraiser will be on Wednesday, August 3, from 10AM-3PM at Greenville Elementary School. The authors are donating 20% of their sales, back to the library. Come have a good time, eat food, meet authors, and find your next favorite book! Love to Cook: Fall Soup Class
We are so excited to welcome back Wil Wood from the Love to Cook store in Logan! He will be teaching us how to make some fall soup recipes. The class will be on Friday, September 23 at 7:00-8:30pm. This activity is for ages 18 and older only. We do have limited seating. It is a free event. Sign up by clicking the link below.
Closing Social
We are excited to announce that our Closing Social for our Summer Reading Program will be on August 12th at 6:30-8:30pm in the library's backyard. We will have Foamtacular joining us for a foam dance party! There will be a Dunk Tunk donated by Renegade Rentals. Come dunk the Mayor and our Library Director! We will have Kona Ice coming where you can purchase shaved ice. Kona Ice will be donating 20% of the profits made from this night to go towards the library's new civic center and the remodeling of the current library. There will be face painting by Imagine This! We will provide a limited quantity of squirt guns. You are welcome to bring your own as well. There will be two slip and slides and wading pools. Come enjoy a free book provided by Jenson's Books! All are welcome to attend. We will also be announcing the grand prize winners this night. Thank you for supporting our Summer Reading Program! We have had a blast with you this Summer!
Special Story Time with Children's Author Kristen J Lloyd
On August 26th join us with Author/Illustrator Kristen J Lloyd (a.ka. Krazy Ani) as she shares her children's book "Find Your Brave" for story time. There will be music, interactive drawing, and more! Toddler Story Time (3 and under): 10:10 am & Story Time (ages 3-5) at 11:00am.
Adult Book Clubs
Did you know we have two adult book clubs at the library! We have a morning book club that meets every 2nd Thursday of the month at 9:00 am. Then we have an evening book club that meets every 4th Tuesday of the month at 7:00pm. Please fill out the google form below for which one you would like to join. You are welcome to join both! This is a one time sign up so you can start receiving emails from the book club leaders. They will send you a reading list. Fiber Crafts
Fiber Crafts will be every 1st Monday at 1:30pm. Bring your own project to work on. Come learn about other fiber crafts and meet some new people or bring some friends with you!
Dungeons and Dragons: Registration is Full
We will be hosting a gaming night for ages 12-17. You can learn to play Dungeons and Dragons or come share your love of playing this game with others. Please sign-up to play so we can make sure we have enough snacks and Dungeon Masters for everyone to play and enjoy! The next game night is on May 6th @ 5:00-8:00pm. No entry fee. Sign ups will begin again in September!
Kid's Crafts: Ages 4-10
We will be making some fun crafts to go along with our Summer theme of, "Oceans of Possibilities." Join us on June 13, June 27, & July 11 for a fun Kids' Craft. All supplies included. Fundraising Event: Outdoor Movies on the Grass
Join us for a fundraising event with our movie nights on June 24th and July 15th. We will have library swag available to purchase. Concessions open at 9pm. Movie starts at 8:30pm.
